Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 5, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Sprint University ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you use the Sprint University iOS app (the "App"). Sprint University builds and adapts personalized sprint training plans. Questions? Contact us at alex@1515capital.com.
Information we collect
Account information. When you create an account we collect your email address. If you sign in with Apple or Google, we receive the email and basic identifiers those services provide. Authentication is handled by our provider, Supabase.
Training data. You provide training inputs directly, such as personal records, body metrics, your training schedule, daily readiness check-ins, and the messages you send the in-app coach. We store your logged workouts and performance results.
Apple Health data (optional). With your permission, the App reads health metrics from Apple Health (HealthKit): heart rate variability (HRV), resting heart rate, and sleep. With your permission, the App can also save completed workouts back to Apple Health.
Subscription and purchase data. When you subscribe, the purchase is processed by Apple. We and our paywall provider (Superwall) receive your subscription status and related transaction information. We never receive your full payment card details.
Usage and device data. We collect analytics about how you use the App (events, screens, feature usage) and basic device information (device model, OS version, app version, and identifiers) through our analytics provider, PostHog.
Advertising attribution data. If, and only if, you allow tracking through Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt, the Meta (Facebook) SDK in the App shares install and purchase attribution events with Meta so we can measure our advertising. If you decline the prompt, this tracking stays off.
How we use your information
- Build, personalize, and adapt your training plans and coaching.
- Read daily readiness signals (HRV, sleep, resting heart rate, and your check-ins) to adjust each session.
- Operate, maintain, and improve the App.
- Provide customer support and respond to you.
- Process and manage your subscription.
- Detect, prevent, and address technical issues, fraud, or abuse.
Apple Health (HealthKit) data
Health data accessed through HealthKit is used only to compute your readiness and personalize your training. We do not use HealthKit data for advertising or marketing, we do not sell it, and we do not share it with third parties for their own purposes, including Meta. You can review or revoke the App's Health permissions at any time in the Apple Health app.
AI coaching
The App includes an AI coaching feature. To generate coaching responses and plan suggestions, your relevant training context (such as your goals, schedule, recent sessions, and the messages you send the coach) is sent to our third-party AI provider (OpenAI) for processing and returned to you. We do not authorize this data to be used to train third-party models, and we limit the personal identifiers included.
How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with service providers that help us operate the App, under agreements that limit their use of it:
- Supabase: authentication and database hosting.
- Render: backend application hosting.
- PostHog: product analytics.
- Superwall: paywall presentation and subscription management.
- OpenAI: AI coaching responses.
- Apple: in-app purchases.
- Meta: advertising attribution, only if you allow tracking through the App Tracking Transparency prompt.
We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights and users, or in connection with a business transfer.
Data retention
We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the App. When you delete your account, we delete or anonymize your personal data, except where we must retain it to comply with legal obligations.
Your choices and deletion
- Account deletion. You can delete your account and its data directly in the App from your profile, or by emailing us at alex@1515capital.com.
- Health permissions. Manage or revoke Health access at any time in the Apple Health app.
- Tracking. Change your tracking choice at any time in iOS Settings under Privacy & Security, then Tracking.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR or CCPA, including the rights to access, correct, delete, or object to certain processing of your data.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children
The App is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version here with a new date at the top of the page.
